Company Overview

Welcome to VERTILAS GmbH, where we specialize in the development and manufacturing of innovative laser diodes for gas sensing, optical communications, and custom applications in the Near Infrared Range (NIR). Our VERTILAS® long wavelength Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSELs) range from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm and come with various packaging options, including cooled and uncooled TO packages, LC-TOSAs, and pigtails. Designed for exceptional single mode performance, our standard product portfolio caters to the sensing and spectroscopy markets with VCSELs for 12 main wavelengths, we also offer custom wavelengths upon request. Experience the advantage a wide and fast tuning range with VERTILAS® laser diodes, engineered for your specific needs.
Introducing VERTILAS® laser diodes, designed for and precise measurements with exceptional sensitivity levels in the ppm and ppb range. Our advanced VCSELs, developed for communications, at 1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm, delivering impressive transmission performance of 10.3 Gbps, 50 Gbps and 106 Gbps PAM4. Additionally, we provide tailored solutions, including 1D and 2D VCSEL arrays for specific customer needs. With VERTILAS® VCSEL technology, system designers can achieve remarkable reduction in power consumption by 50% or more compared to traditional laser technologies.
