VERTILAS offers laser products for gas sensing, optical communications and customer specific applications.
VERTILAS VCSEL technology offers lasers in the NIR (Near Infrared) range from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm to address a wide range of applications.
VERTILAS InP VCSELs offer the following features: Excellent single mode performance with SMSR > 35 dB, Wide and fast tuning range for gas sensing (3 nm to 5 nm tuning range by Ibias), Circular beam shape, polarisation stabilized, High modulation perfomance for optical communications (10 Gbps to 40 Gbps), Very low power consumption, Indium Phosphide (InP) base material to produce lasers with wavelengths from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm.
